Kevin De Bruyne’s home in Belgium was reportedly trashed by burglars during a break-in on Saturday. The Manchester City star, his wife Michele and their three children were not at the property at the time of the raid. Belgian news outlet HLN said items had been taken but no further details were available. The burglars used a stepladder to reach the first floor of the property in Bolderberg, Heusden-Zolder. A Senate committee Thursday formally opened a bipartisan investigation into Steward Health Care, the nation’s largest physician-led hospital system, and voted to subpoena the company’s CEO, alleging that Steward executives had mismanaged the system’s finances and put patient care at risk. Steward, a for-profit company that owns 31 hospitals across the country, is in bankruptcy proceedings and has been seeking to sell its hospitals. Community leaders and health workers in states served by Steward’s facilities, such as Massachusetts, have blamed Steward leaders for extravagant paydays even as hospitals struggled to meet mortgage payments and cover other expenses.
